Tax Manager

Based in Geneva, Eli Lilly Export SA focuses on distributing pharmaceutical products in small to medium size markets across the globe to ensure critical medical needs of patients are met.

In order to reinforce our Fiscal Affairs department, we are looking for a Tax Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Tax compliance:

• Manage calculation of tax provisions, adjustments and payments
• Prepare internal reports for U.S. Corporate Tax Department
• Manage preparation of corporate tax returns
• Review and file VAT declarations and perform GL account reconciliation
• Support direct and indirect fiscal audits
• Provide support on projects when tax perspective required
• Support in preparation of legal entity profitability and transfer pricing documentation

The Financial Aspect

• Prepare annual statutory reports
• Assist in managing statutory audit on tax related matters
• Assist in the management of cash balances, especially with regard to annual inter-company dividend plan
• Support all other aspects of Swiss and international tax compliance

Other Aspect

• Assist on projects in regions where Lilly Export has business connections

Skills

• Qualified accountant or equivalent with tax and business knowledge
• Sound knowledge of international and U.S. taxation and legislation a plus
• Strong financial analysis capabilities
• Knowledge of VAT regulations in Europe
• Accounting (SAP) system knowledge a plus
• Strong ability to work in collaboration with others

Previous Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience in a multinational company would be an asset

Languages

• English proficiency required, good knowledge of French a plus
