tive:
Business Intelligence (BI) at FIND is a cross-cutting and multidisciplinary unit that spans across all FIND disease programs within the organization, and aims at informing strategic decision-making through an efficient management of intelligence on diagnostic products, industry players and IVD market, and a high-level of coordination between FIND’s project teams and external partners. The BI unit works across four pillars: Technology Scouting, Market Intelligence (MI), Industry Partner Selection and Industry Partne

rship.
The Senior BI Officer will work with the disease programs and other cross-cutting units/departments in the identification and assessment of new project opportunities with the ultimate goal to deliver transformative in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests in low- and middle-income countries. The candidate will coordinate a pre-concept process to support upstream technical and business assessment of new opportunities (ideas, concepts, new products, new technologies, etc.) within FIND. The outcome of the pre-concept process will be the launch base for initiating new projects and guiding funding initiatives. Such a process aims at feeding FIND’s project portfolio with high impact projects that are aligned with FIND’s mission and strategy. With a strong business and marketing background, the Senior BI Officer will work in close collaboration with several teams such as Impact, market intelligence, health programs, resource mobilization, etc. to support the selection of new projects, the development of concept notes and fundraising dec

isions.
The transversal nature of the role will require someone with an innate ability to structure and monitor progress of their work, prioritize appropriately, and execute independently. An ability to clearly communicate across tenure and seniority will be essential given the broad degree of stakeholder engagement is expected. Qualifications/skil

ls required:
• Business degree (B.A, MBA) or degree (BSc, MSc, PhD) in life sciences, public health or related field complemented with a bus

iness training• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the medical device or diagnostics industry, in new product launch, market research, consumer insights, analytics, marketing or other related function. A mix of industry and global public health experience would also

be considered.• Experience in identifying market opportunities, market segmentation, forecasting pricing analysis

and strategy.• Understanding of market research tools and

methodologies• Understand public health issues and is passionate about improving the quality of life of people living in low- and middle-inc

ome countries.• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail, self-motivate, and propose and implement n

ew initiatives• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to set cle
