Ø Design and develop complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations using SAP BO tools such as Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboard Design Lumira, and Analysis for Office.
Ø Customize and enhance existing SAP BO universes (UNX/UNV) and data models to optimize performance and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Ø Work closely with data architects and ETL developers to ensure the availability and integrity of data for reporting purposes, including data cleansing, transformation, and loading activities.
Ø Perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate the functionality and performance of BI solutions, addressing any issues or defects identified.
Ø Provide technical guidance and support to business users and BI administrators, assisting with troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system maintenance tasks.
Ø Conduct training sessions and create documentation to educate end users on the use and capabilities of SAP BO tools and reports.
Ø Stay current with SAP BO product updates, enhancements, and best practices, and recommend opportunities for leveraging new features to improve BI capabilities.
Ø Participate in project planning, estimation, and resource allocation activities, ensuring timely delivery of BI solutions within budget and scope.
Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP BO solutions with other enterprise systems and applications, such as SAP ERP, CRM, and HCM.
Requirements
Ø Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Ø Experience in SAP BusinessObjects development and administration, including designing and implementing BI solutions using SAP BO tools.
Ø Proficiency in SAP BO tool set, including Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports, Dashboard Design Lumira, Analysis for Office, and Information Design Tool (IDT).
Ø Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and relational database systems, with experience working with SQL queries.
Ø Experience with SAP BO universe design and development, including creating complex joins, contexts, and derived tables to support reporting requirements.
Ø Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP BW integration with SAP BO, including leveraging SAP BW BEx queries and SAP HANA views for reporting purposes.
Ø Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into actionable BI solutions.
Ø Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
Ø Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Ø SAP BO certification(s) such as SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence Platform, preferred.
