Research Scientist Intern, Rendering and Reconstruction (PhD) Responsibilities:
- Design and execution of algorithms
- Prototyping, building and analysis of experimental systems
- Collaboration with and support of other researchers across various disciplines
- Communication of research agenda, progress and results
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, Machine Learning or related fields
- Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
- Interpersonal skills: cross-group and cross-culture collaboration
- Experience with neural rendering, implicit representations, deformation models, lightstage geometry reconstruction, or forward and inverse rendering of physically based shading models
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship
- 2+ years of experience with 3D geometry reconstruction and representation, BRDF and light transport algorithms, or machine learning
- Experience with Deep Learning
- Proven track record of achieving results as demonstrated in accepted papers at top computer vision, computer graphics or machine learning related conferences such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, NeurIPS, SIGGRAPH, EGSR, etc
